Raging in a group offers one to be able to feel safer when you aren’t the only one raging in your anger. Once, someone else starts to release their emotions of anger / rage / grief / shame…it gives you permission to do the same without feeling like you’re the only one or someone is looking at you or judging your scream. Releasing these emotions offer space within your being to open up space within your body, mind, soul to receive more love and joy in your life. This is an opportunity to let go of the past whether it’s from physical, emotional, or mental trauma from childhood, teendom, or adulthood.
This sacred space is held in confidentiality, safety, love, laughter, tears and yes, yelling. These sessions are 2 hours in length. The first part is learning the way to “rage”, tapping into the rage itself and where it is being stored in the body, 2-3 rounds of releasing the rage, and the last part is integration with music, toning, drumming and shamanic facilitations.

What to bring and what to expect for your Sacred Rage Session:
Make sure you block off at least 2 hours for your session. We may not use the full 2 hours, yet this is for you to rest and integrate afterwards.
Wear comfortable clothing and remove any jewelry (bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings) This is for your safety.
Please bring 2 pillows, a blanket or two – if you’d like to kneel upon them to protect your knees.
Plenty of water to drink
Bring a journal and a pen or pencil
Arrive 15 minutes before schedule time, Doors will close right at 10am.
Write down in the journal your intentions for your session. (What is there for you now before you begin? Is there a certain repressed or known anger you’re wishing to bring into this session to be released? Are you open to seeing what comes up during the session as well? Sometimes some events are tied together and pop up within the session which you may have forgotten about, yet would like to be seen, resolved and let go of.
Are you willing to forgive the person or persons that you are angry at? Are you willing to forgive yourself? Are you willing to be forgiven?
It’s an unknown, are you willing to take the deep dive into your memory and deal with whatever trauma, pain, emotions that arise.
There will be bouts of crying, yelling, swearing, throwing things, and moving your body. Make sure you get plenty of rest 24 hours before and drink lots of water. Stay away from any alcoholic beverages 24 hours before.
I will be here with you every step of the way. Honoring you and how you are progressing at your speed. We will take mini breaks if we need to. There will be a safe word that you will use to let me know that you want to stop the session completely. You can’t take any more. This will be derived before we start the session we are all aware of what that word is.
Once the rage part of the session is complete, you will lie down in a comfortable position with a blanket over you to keep warm while an energetic alignment will commence. There will be 2-3 songs played along with some drumming.
I will gently call you back into the space, have a bit of conversation to see how you feel and where you are at with your anger now and close out our session.
I will be available for any questions you may have via text message in the interim between our 1/2 hour integration zoom meeting which is usually scheduled a week after. I will send you a zoom link after our session.
