Welcome to Birding at Heritage

$8 – $12Monthly bird walk specifically for beginning birders of all ages.
Join us this Summer birding season at Heritage Park as we walk along the trails near the Nature Center in Farmington Hills. There we will explore the 211-acre park along 4.5 miles of trails for hiking and nature study. We have high chances to see a wide array of woodpeckers, swallows, Chimney Swifts, Eastern Bluebirds, Indigo Buntings, Cedar Waxwings, Sparrows, and Warblers with a chance of seeing the resident Barred Owl.
A portion of the trails are paved and accessible to wheelchairs.
Binoculars can be loaned to those who do not have their own. Weather may be chilly, especially near the water, so be sure to dress appropriately.
