The City of Farmington Hills Cultural Arts Division and the Farmington Downtown Development Authority invite the community to Art on the Grand. This year marks the 15th year for the free, fine arts and craft fair along Grand River in downtown Farmington. More than 60,000 art lovers are expected. Event Hours: Saturday(6/1): 10 am- 7pm, Sunday (6/2): 11 am-5 pm
Art on the Grand is known for its friendly environment and approachable artists. The event is a favorite because of its high-quality art offering varying price ranges and disciplines including ceramics, jewelry, painting, photography, wood, wearable art, glass, sculpture, and more. This year’s event will feature a Kids Art Alley where young local student artists in grades 5 – 12.
Fun activities will also be available for fairgoers of all ages on Market Street. Activities include a drop in workshop hosted by Detroit Institute of Arts, Axe Throwing with a benefit to the Masonic Plaza Crowdfund, The Imagination Playground Blue Blocks, face painting, and local eats featuring Dagwood’s and Green Light Vegan food truck.

Pony Rides & a petting zoo at Masonic Plaza- every ride will help us qualify for a matching grant to build the new plaza, 10am-5pm
Farmington Author & Book Festival on the Masonic Lawn, hosted by KickstART Farmington, 10am-7pp
Live Music: Briarean Quartet, Out Front on Grand River, 2-5pm
Live Music: Emma Zee, Out Front on Grand River, 5:30-8:30pm
Silent Disco for Masonic Plaza, 7-10pm. Limited tickets are available.
