Experience DMYS for a day – bring your instrument and music stand and rehearse with our renowned orchestras. All Open House participants should print a copy of the DMYS music and BRING A MUSIC STAND! You will be emailed a link to the music after registering – please print in advance!
Ready to audition? Play for our conductors same day (at break or directly following rehearsal) and normal audition fee is waived (pending section availability). Review audition and orchestra requirements at: https://www.detroitmys.org/orchestras
Please note that accepted students will be eligible to enroll early for the 2026-27 season and start in September 2026.
There will be a short, informal Q&A for interested parents at 9:45 in the lobby. Parents should plan to pick up students AFTER rehearsal (11:30 Sinfonia, 12pm for String, Concert, Symphony).
