Family Fun in Riley Park

Looking for great summer fun the whole family can enjoy? The Farmington Community Library presents Family Fun in Riley Park, a series of free performances and activities designed for kids, parents, and grandparents alike. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and get ready to relax and enjoy the shows.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, all events will move indoors to the Farmington Community Library at 23500 Liberty Street. A final decision about rain location or cancellations will be made by 5:30 p.m. on event days. For updates, call the library at 248-553-0300 ext. 220 or visit farmlib.org.

  • Wednesday, June 18 at 7 p.m. – Randy Kaplan
    Randy Kaplan is a singer songwriter, playwright, poet and performer. He is renowned for his “not-JUST-for-kids” music in the mid-aughts, first in Brooklyn and then nationwide.
  • Wednesday, June 25 at 7 p.m. – Bichini Bia Congo
    Bichini Bia Congo delivers high-energy performances featuring expert Congolese dance, singing, and drumming for a full musical experience.
  • Wednesday, July 2 at 7 p.m. – Joe Reilly
    Joe Reilly is a singer and song writer who writes songs from the heart.  His songs are playful, engaging, joyful and always have something meaningful to say.
  • Wednesday, July 9 at 7 p.m. – Amazing Clark
    The Amazing Clark will present an interactive magic show including magical illusions and hilarious comedy for audiences of all ages.
