Film Festival: The World According to Allee Willis at The Civic

KickstART Farmington is pleased to announce that the annual Farmington Film Festival (formerly known as the Greater Farmington Film Festival) will return exclusively to the Farmington Civic Theater in downtown Farmington on March 5-8, 2026. The Farmington Film Festival will present a mix of documentary and narrative films that celebrate the creative spirit and the power of the arts to inspire a better world. This year’s festival theme focuses on art and the creative spirit.

Songwriter / artist Allee Willis, best known for writing the “Friends” theme song, the Earth Wind & Fire mega-hit “September” and “The Color Purple” musical, began filming her life as a kid in 1950s Detroit and never stopped.
