Founder’s Festival in Downtown Farmington

Farmington, Michigan – The annual Farmington Founders Festival presented by Meijer returns this year for the 61st celebration of summer. This festival takes over Downtown Farmington for three packed days of fun. There will be a soft open for the beer tent and food court starting at 5pm on Thursday, July 18. The main festivities will kick off on Friday at 10am with traditional events including the Crafters Market, Beer Tent with live music, Farmington Fido Fest, Touch A Truck, kids foam party, and more!
The Crafters Market will sprawl throughout the parking lot at Grand River and Farmington and on Farmington Road with over 100 crafters and vendors. Visitors can expect to see a variety of handmade crafts, jewelry, local artists, soaps, candles, garden art, ceramics, pottery and more.

BINGO in the Beer Tent
Farmington Area PTA Council will be hosting BINGO in the Beer Tent on Saturday, July 19 from 2pm – 5pm. All proceeds from BINGO will benefit the Farmington Area PTA Council.
Cornhole Tournament
A Cornhole Tournament hosted by MI Chaos Cornhole will be inside the Beer Tent area with bags flying at 12noon. Participants have an opportunity to compete on a competitive and social level. With cash prizes and more on the line to win. Proceeds to benefit Farmington Area PTA Council.

• LOC Credit Union 5k Color Run
This 5k fun run will give participants the opportunity to run or walk through Shiawassee Park and Downtown Farmington along the parade route. Medals presented to age-group winners. Four color stations throughout the race route add a special experience. The race will be chip-timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.

Farmington Fido Fest will include popular attractions from the Ultimate Air Dogs brought to you by Bark Bark Adventure Park and K9 Star Productions Variety Show brought to you by Michigan Community Insurance Agency. Dogs and their owners can check out the newest doggy products or participate in one of the many contests throughout the weekend.
