This workshop will help parents learn how to keep children safe online and support their mental health. Two experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics Center of Excellence on Social Media and Youth Mental Health will share easy-to-follow tips for parents of children ages 8–15. You will learn: \n\nHow to set up safety controls on phones\, apps\, and websites\nWhat to do if your child is feeling sad\, stressed\, or in danger online\nWhat steps to take to protect your child and get help\n\nThere will be time to ask questions and share experiences with other parents.
