DESCRIPTION:Registration is not required.  \nLearn how to code with FCL’s Fiero Code program! \nEvery 3rd Friday from September to December\, get together with friends in an open lab session and jump into the fun world of coding. Learn at your own pace or work together on different projects\, like designing a website\, programming a dancing robot\, or designing video games! \nIf you don’t have a Fiero Code account yet\, we can help you set one up. You’ll need an email address. If you have a Farmington Community Library card\, please have your card number and PIN with you. If you don’t have an FCL card\, no problem—staff can still help you get started. \nParticipants can either bring their own laptops or use one of the library’s laptops. Laptops are limited\, so we encourage participants to share with a friend.

DESCRIPTION:Artist Alessandra Lipman wins the People’s Choice Awards at the 2026-2027 Public Art Program Opening Reception at the Farmington Hills City Hall. \nThe public is invited to meet Lipman during an Artist Talk and Opening Reception on Friday\, February 20 at City Hall\, 6-8pm. \nAlessandra Lipman was awarded a solo show by winning the People’s Choice Award at the opening reception for the 2026-2027 Public Art Program. In the newest exhibit of the year\, Lipman will display a collection of 34 mixed media artworks through March 20 at the Rotating Exhibits Gallery in Farmington Hills City Hall at 31555 W Eleven Mile.
