SUMMARY:How to Play at Heritage Park Nature Center - REGISTRATION REQUIRED
DESCRIPTION:Opportunities for children to free play in the outdoors have been replaced with structured activities\, youth sports and rigid schedules. Explore ways to give the gift of free play back to your child\, letting them lead the way! Nature Center Staff will share tried and true methods of getting kids to connect with and enjoy the outdoors through play-based activities. Discover how learning through play creates more observant\, resilient and strong kids. The program will take place outdoors. Please dress for the weather. Bringing your child(ren) is optional. The first half of the program will be an adults-only presentation\, while the children engage in free play with the Nature Preschool Staff. Then we will reunite for reflection and more free play practice (kids and adults) in the outdoors. Please indicate how many children you’re bringing with you when you register. Activities are designed for families with children ages 3-7.

DESCRIPTION:TGIF! Why hire a sitter? Parents can plan a special night out while kids get to enjoy a night in at the Hawk Community Center. Hawk Recreation Staff will plan and oversee activities for a fun-filled night\, including pizza party\, swimming\, giant inflatables and other fun activities. You do not need to be a passholder to participate. Emergency form must be filled out at check-in.\n*Participants will have supervised access to the pool and should BRING A SWIMSUIT AND TOWEL if they wish to participate in pool activities. Participants will also have supervised access to bouncers and should WEAR SOCKS if they wish to participate in bouncer activities.
