On Friday, September 26 from 1–3pm, The Detroit Garage is hosting “Gals in the Garage,” a special women’s car clinic designed to empower women through essential automotive knowledge and hands-on learning.

What to Expect

This free event will give you the chance to learn the basics every driver should know, including:

  • How to check your tires and what to look for
  • Checking your oil and other fluid levels
  • Jump-starting your battery
  • Checking and replacing your air filters
  • …and more!

You’ll also get a chance to ask questions directly during a Q&A with experienced technicians—so bring along all those car questions you’ve been saving up.

And because it wouldn’t be a community event without some fun, there will be refreshments, giveaways, and a raffle with fantastic prizes!
